Via.Me Community Etiquette


Via.Me is a great place because of people like you who share and contribute fantastic pictures, videos, sound clips and status updates.

We created the guidelines below based on feedback from the Via.Me community. Following these guidelines helps to ensure that Via.Me is a positive and respectful community.

What to Do

  1. Share your Status Updates, Pictures, Videos and Sound with us

    Via.Me offers you the unique opportunity to share all the status updates, photos, videos, and sounds from your life with the Via.Me community, and we are excited for you to do so!

  2. Treat others in the community with respect and as you would like to be treated. Play nice in the sandbox.

    Respect everyone’s right to feel comfortable and welcome on Via.Me. Please remember to be respectful and polite in all your interactions.

  3. Interact genuinely with other users

    Soliciting other users with commercial interests and self-promotion are not welcome. It is noticeable when you post the same comment on numerous photos, or follow a large number of users just to gain followers in return. Please respect the intention of our service. %li

    Via.Me was created for you to share your story with your friends and the Via.Me community. Take pride in your content and your audience will appreciate it!

What NOT to do

IMPORTANT: Please keep in mind that breaking any of the rules outlined below may result in the termination of your account, or discontinued access to Via.Me.

  1. Don’t Spam

    Nobody likes SPAM. This includes repetitive comments, self-promotion, or the promotion of any third party will be removed. The Via.Me community is good about flagging SPAM and we take this guideline seriously.

  2. Don't share photos, videos, or sounds that do not belong to you or are copyrighted

    Any content that has been taken from either the Internet or another user is not to be posted to your page without the correct attribution. If your account is compiled mostly of that sort of content, it is subject to being disabled.

  3. Don’t post anything that contains mature content

    This includes but is not limited to nudity, violence, or drug-related content. As a guideline, if you wouldn't show your post to a child, or it’s not safe for a workplace environment, it is most likely not acceptable for Via.Me.

  4. Don’t be disrespectful

    We try our best to promote a sense of community, and part of that is to ensure that everyone feels welcome. All users should feel comfortable posting their content, and any behavior that disregards that concept will be dealt with accordingly.
